Couples/Roommates/Single Campers interested in staying in the Deluxe Cabins 


Couples and Roommates are an additional $145.00 per person in addition to registration fee for a Deluxe Cabin. Campers who wish to stay in a Deluxe Cabin room alone will pay an additional $350 on top of the registration fee.


Couples and Roommates registering must select the $145 additional charge and list their Spouse or Roommates name PRIOR to completing our registration form. If registering with a roommate, your roommate must register within 36 hours of your registration in order to qualify for the Deluxe Cabin $145.00 additional fee. If your roommate does not register within 36 hours, your registration may be canceled. 

Full balance must be paid by March 1, 2023. Registrations made after March 1, 2023 must be paid in full at the time of registration.

Track Class Options

  • This course is for those clowns who are still early in their stages of learning. Some potential students might be those who have NEVER clowned before or those who have only been clowning for a couple of years.

  • This course is designed to focus on performing within a healthcare setting. This course is for those who have an interest in or who are already performing as a healthcare clown.

    Child Life Information
    Working with a Partner
    Routine Building
    Emotional Connection Exercises
    Improv

  • This course is designed for those who are interested in using their clowning for their Ministry. Clowns who take this course could potentially be performing already as a Ministry Clown or could have a strong interest in doing so.

    Working within the Church
    Ministry Routines
    Working within the Mission Field
    Creating Messages through Skills

  • This class is designed to introduce students to the world of the American Style Circus Clown. This class can be very physical and very engaging so be prepared.

    Gag Writing/Gag Development
    Slapstick
    Comedy Movement
    Circus History
    Gag Performance

  • This class is designed for those who perform within their community! i.e. Birthday Parties, Library Shows, Festivals, Nursing Homes, etc.

    Writing a Birthday Party Show
    Finding Work Locally
    Writing Material for different Shows

  • This class is designed to welcome you into the world of Eccentric Clowning. This can also be a very physically and emotionally demanding class so be prepared.

    Creating Vulnerability/Being Vulnerable
    Learning to Breathe
    How to create rapport
    Comedy Movement
    Entrances and Exits

  • This class is limited to 10 individuals. This class is designed for those who are already working as Full Time Entertainers.

    Creating and Finding Clients
    Selling Your Product
    How To Fix Your Product
    Creating A Business Plan/Model

  • This class is limited to Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, and his helpers. This class is designed to help grow your perspective and performance style as Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, or Helper.

Camp Waiver Form

I/my child will be participating in ACA Camp 2023 at Rock Eagle 4-H Center from April 31-May 6, 2023.

I understand that I am/my minor child is acting as a volunteer, and I am/my child is not an employee or contracted service provider of Rock Eagle 4-H Center and is therefore not entitled to compensation or benefits. I understand that there are inherent risks associated with participating, and verify that I am/my minor child is covered by a health insurance plan.

I expressly agree to hold harmless and indemnify ACA Camp and its staff, University of Georgia, Rock Eagle 4-H Center, its Board of Trustees, and its employees for any damages or claims which I or my minor child may cause to any property, of any nature whatsoever, occurring while participating at Rock Eagle 4-H Center. It is further understood that ACA Camp and its staff, University of Georgia, Rock Eagle 4-H Center, its Board of Trustees, and its employees shall not be responsible for any loss of personal possessions during this participation.

I agree and understand that ACA Camp and its staff, University of Georgia, Rock Eagle 4-H Center, its Board of Trustees, and its employees shall not be liable for any injuries or claims incurred by myself/my minor child while participating.

Furthermore, I do hereby assign unto Rock Eagle 4-H Center and ACA Camp organization my consent, interest, and title to any images or video taken of myself/my minor child during participation with ACA Camp. The intended use of these images and/or video will be for the promotion and marketing of ACA Camp and fine arts programming at Rock Eagle 4-H Center.

ACA Camp and its staff, University of Georgia, Rock Eagle 4-H Center, its Board of Trustees, and its employees does not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its activities or operations. I agree to comply.

Furthermore, I understand the refund policy for ACA Camp:

- The $200 deposit I place when I register is NON-REFUNDABLE.
- All payments after March 1, 2023 are NON-REFUNDABLE.


American Clown Academy instruction is programmed for adult registrants 18 years and older. Any child/minor under 18 years old registered for American Clown Academy must be accompanied by a legal guardian. A guardian is responsible to provide 24/7 supervision for accompanying minor. Although we promote and expect a family-friendly environment, it is understood that American Clown Academy is programmed for adults and any subjective adult content that may be shared in and outside the classroom is clearly beyond American Clown Academy’s control. Guardian discretion is advised at all times.

Everyone who registers for camp is required to have on file a signed waiver
